Nigerians are up there as people endowed with unimaginable talents. Although quite sadly, some of these talents are suppressed by the unfavourable environments some people find themselves in.
But there are those who have made waves worldwide for one reason or the other. Now let's check out five Nigerians who found their way into the Guineas Book of Records.
1. DJ Obi
In the year 2016, Obi Ajuonuma, commonly known as DJ Obi recorded the Longest DJ set at the Sao Cafe in Lekki Phase I. He completed a marathon run of 240 hours on the decks and by so doing, he broke the Guineas World Record.
2. Harrison Chinedu
Harrison Chinedu is a Nigerian footballer who made name for himself by recording the longest distance walked with a ball on the head. He walked from the Redeemed Camp to the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos. Thus, he walked a total distance of 48.04 kilometers in 6 hours, 15 minutes, breaking the Guiness World Records.
3. Olawunmi Treasures Bayode
Olawunmi Treasures Bayode broke the Guineas World Record by embarking on the longest marathon 'Reading Aloud.' He broke the former record of 113 hours by recording an incredible 120 hours marathon.
4. Kafayat Shafau AKA KAFFY
Kafayat Shafau , commonly known as Kaffy danced the longest hours in 2006, thereby breaking the Guiness World Records.broke the world record by dancing the longest hours. She danced for 52 hours and 3 minutes in 2006.
5. Chidera Anemege
In the year 2011, Chidera, commonly known popularly as Chiddy recorded the longest rap freestyle, thereby breaking the Guiness World Record. The rapper freestyled for 9 hours, 18 minutes and 22 seconds.
